The new Motto of Triple Sprint will be “Speed is all you Need”, because in Triple Sprint, you will be able to show up to a race with no gear and no preparation and still be able to race and have fun. Each race will partner with local retailers to provide the essentials like goggles, swimwear, bikes, helmets, shirts, shorts, and spikes at low cost or for rent. With community support and funding, our goal is to make some races completely free for qualifying applicants including gear and rentals. All you have to do is show up and race because, “Speed is all you Need!”
The Triple Sprint is an exciting new sporting event that is all about speed and fun. Unlike a traditional triathlon where endurance and distance are important, the Triple Sprint takes the three sports you love and makes them shorter and faster. Not only is it more fun to race fast, it’s more fun to watch!
Consisting of a 50 Free Pool Swim, a 300 Meter Bike Sprint, and a 150 Meters Run of blazing speed on a track, the Triple Sprint is 500 Total Meters of sprinting. Because it is short, anyone can finish, so the Triple Sprint 500 is for everyone, from fast twitch athletes (track, football, baseball, basketball, martial arts), to kids, and anyone who just likes to go fast. Each event is run separately and timed separately like a decathlon, so there are no transitions. The fastest combined time for the three sprints wins! If you can sprint all three events in a combined time under One(1) minute, you win the Minuteman Jackpot!
